FUNERAL OF MARQUESS
ROYAL FAMILY PRESENT By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Saturday. The l’uneral of the late Marquess of Cambridge at Windsor to-day was attended by King George and all the members of the Royal Family. Soldiers from the regiment of Life Guards
bore the coffin into the chapel, and behind them the late Duke’s butler, Fleming, carried the deceased’s Orders on a purple cushion. As the eoffin was lowered into the crypt the Earl of Eltham, the heir to the title, dropped earth on it, at which Queen Mary wept behind her heavy black veil. She appeared to be distressed throughout the service, s | Mr. Alexander Crabb, the Secretary s ,to the High Commissioner for New = j Zealand, Sir James Parr, represented the New Zealand Government at the 3 i funeral. —A, and ?
