UNIVERSITY EXAMS TEN DAYS’ TESTS For the next ten days about 1,300 students will be trying to convince the professors that they are qualified to “kept terms.” f|THE term examinations of the Auck--1 land University College began today and will last: until October 22. Not so much importance attaches; to the examinations as in previous years, when it was the acid test of a student’s fitness to sit for the degree examination. Under the new system tests are taken throughout the academic year of the student’s ability and his fitness is judged on these as well as the final examinations.
