HOLY TRINITY CLUB

EGYPTIAN NIGHT The Holy Trinity Hall at Otahuhu presented quite an Egyptian appearance last evening, when the Holy Trinity Social Club held another very enjoyable function in the form of an “Egyptian Evening.” There was a large attendance of members present, and the visitors from surrounding districts added greatly to the gaiety of the entertainment. The dance music was supplied by Mr. Andrew’s orchestra, and Mr. 11. Lovell capably filled the duties of M.C. During the evening prizes were awarded for the best-dressed Egyptian man and woman, and the successful competitors were Mr. R. Hatton and Miss Parkliurst. For the non-dancers a very enjoyable “500” tournament was held, the successful competitors being Mrs. Barry and Mr. Paine. The winners of the consolation prizes were Mrs. Jones and Mr. Whitmore.
