BRITISH ISRAELITES BOUND FOR AUSTRALIA IN SEARCH OF WORK
With flowing hair and beards two members of the Society of British Israelites stood on the deck of the Aorangi this morning. They were Messrs. J. W. and A. Stoneman, uncle and nephew, Aus-tralia-bound in search of work. Detroit is their home, but they have decided to go to Australia as there are many of their brethren in Queensland. The British Israelites affect simple clothes and broad-brimmed hats. It is against their custom to be photographed.
