Miss Ella Matthews, who has been on an extended visit to Vancouver, returned by the Aorangi. * * * Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Firth, of Christchurch, are staying at Hotel Mon Besir, Takapuna. * * * Mr. and Mrs. George McMillan are returning by the Aorangi from a visit to England. Mrs. A. M. Ferguson leaves town to-morrow for Wellington, where she will be the guest of their Excellencies Sir Charles and Lady Alice Fergusson at Government House. Mrs. Tweed, of Wellington, arrived by the Rotorua from England, and is staying with her daughter, Mrs. R. Towle, Remuera. • *i« • Mrs. Frank Macky is an Auckland visitor to Cambridge, where she Is the guest of Mrs. James Taylor. Mrs. Alfred Kidd, who has been attending the conference of hospital nurses in Wellington, has returned to Auckland. Mrs. J, F. Buchanan, Miss Isobol Turrell and Mr. George Turrell returned to New Zealand by the Rotorua. Mrs. Gerald Anderson has arrived from Christchurch to meet them and is staying at the Grand Hotel. * * * Mrs. J. J. Canavan and her son and daughter, who> have been on a motoring tour through Australia for the past three months, returned to New Zealand last week. They are spending a few days at the Egmont Mountain House before returning to their home in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs.. C. W. Clifford and thei.r son and daughter arrived from England by the Rotorua last evening. They will visit relatives in Canterbury. Mrs. I. O. Buchanan wlas a passenger by the Rotorua which arrived last evening from England. Miss Buddle-Bysart arrived from England by the Rotorua evening. Captain G. B. Parkinson and Mrs. Parkinson arrived in Auckland last evening by the Rotorua from England. Comander R. L. Bearden, R.N., and Mrs. Bearden were among the passengers who arrived by the Rotorua last evening from England. Miss IVL E. Selby-Tuppen arrived by the Rotorua last evening from England. Mrs. C. M.
