“WON WAR ALONE”
LLOYD GEORGE PRAISED STATEMENTS CONTRADICTED By Cable.—Pr _'SS Association. —Copyright LONDON, Saturday. In connection with the recently published diary of the late FieldMarshal Sir Henry Wilson and his references to meetings of the Imperial War Cabinet. Mr. Llofd George pub-
lishes a letter he received from Sir Henry, in which he said: “You did more than any other mau living or dead. You almost alone won the war.” Mr. Lloyd George says he has suffered much at the bands of diarists, but he never uttered many of the observations which are attributed to him by the lute field-marshal. —A. and N.Z.
