SCHOOLGIRL’S DEATH
FALL FROM BICYCLE Mary Shi van, aged 13 years, who fell from a bicycle at Paeroa on Friday, has succumbed to her injuries. After scilbol she borrowed a bicycle and went for a ride with a companion. Turning sharply to go back for her friend she fell and received fatal injuries to her head. Medical evidence went to show that death was due to haemorrhage of the brain, and a verdict of accidental death Wit* returned. The child was an orphan boarded out by the Education Department.
