FREE STOUT
A SPREE ON THE: LIFFEY Crowds on the banks of the Liffey recently enjoyed free drinks in unusual circumstances. A barge fully laden with barrels of stout foundered in the river, and on their voyage to the sea several were caught and brought ashore. There they were tapped 13y the onlookers, who, says a Dublin message, “continued drinking to a late hour.”
