PIGEON FLYING
MANUNUI CLUB The Manunui Homing Pigeon Club, in continuation of its old bird season, staged a race from Newmarket, which resulted as follows:—Mr. J. Whittaker’s Prince Charleroi, 1.20&.6, 1; Mr. D. Andrews’s Matai, 1,208, 2; Mr. D. Wilson's Shooting Star, 1,207.7, 3. Other figures were:—Mr. R. Patterson’s Close Fire 1.206.9; Mr. T. Williams’s Betty, 1,202.2. The club's nex: fixture will be an interval race from Levin, for Mr. D. Brown’s Cup.
