RAISING FUNDS The enthusiasm of Stanley Bay residents in improving tlieir fine area is one of the outstanding features of ; the North Shore. By dint of hard work, and persistent canvassing for funds, the tennis courts at the Stanley Park area art) now well on the way to completion, and should b** ready for play by the end of the month. List night the tennis club held a successful concert in the Victoria Theatre. Devonport at which it had i the assistance of Mrs. Robertson. Miss I O. Lloyd, Miss Hope Asher. Miss Peggy , Hovey, Miss E. Herrick. Miss Doreen D’Authi eau. Mrs. D’Authreau, | Mr. F. Asher, Mr. L. Sandler, Mr. J. !W. Kendall, Mr. Raymond Reeve. Mr. Rex Yates, Mr. J. Bree, Mr. W. Marks land Mr. J. Harper.
