SHELTERED FROM RAIN J WOMAN’S STORY DISBELIEVED > When Emily Stevenson, a pro- ? hibited person, was found in a ] hotel bar yesterday, she told the c constable that she was sheltering from the rain. 1 T the Police Court to-day she was charged with drunkenness, breach of Her prohibition order, and entering y licensed premises while prohibited. * She also appeared for sentence on a charge of receiving a stolen overcoat. A constable who saw her yesterday said she had a bottle of gin in her possession, and she was in a disgraceful state. She was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment, and her plea for medical observation was not heeded.
