THIS WEEK’S PRICES HAMILTON. To-day. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at the weekly stock market at Frankton yards yesterday there was a full yarding of fat cattle and sheep, and a medium entry of fat and store pigs. Beef was 10s to 15s a head easier, than the previous week. This refers especially to plain and unfinished sorts. Prime quality mutton was firm at late rates. The majority of the yarding consisted of unfinished sheep, which were easier. . .. There was no improvement m the values of bacon pigs, but porkers were slightly better in values. Stores were as usual. Medium to heavy steers made £l2 to £l2 10s; good quality light to medium, prime steers made £ll to £ll 17s 6d; prime heavy fat cows and heifers, £9 to £9 15s; prime, £8 10s to £8 17s 6d; good quality light to medium-weight cows and heifers, £8 to £8 8s; others, £7 to £7 12s 6d; medium vealers, £2 10s to £2 19s; young and light, 19s to 255. Extra prime heavy fat ewes and wethers sold up to £2; fair fat wethers. 34s 9d; medium weight fat ewes, 33s .-d; lighter, 26s 9d to 2Ss; plain, 24s to 25s 6d; prime woolly hoggets and maiden ewes, 325; medium weight fat noggets, 27s 9d: unfinished. 20s to 24s Id: fair forward hoggets, 22s to 235. Pigs, heavv baconers, £3 Is to £3 Cs; lighter, £2 17s to £2 19s: light baconers and good porkers, £2 14s to £2 lGs; medium. £2 10s to £2 12s; light, £2 to £2 6s; choppers, £2 12s 6d to £3 ss; medium slips, £1 to £1 3s: weaners, 30s to 21s; sows, in pig, £2 17s 6d to £3 10a. _ - - -
