RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM

“WHAT PRICE GLORY” “What Price Glory,” the Fox superfilm, which had a phenomenal run at the Majestic and Strand simultaneously, is now being shown at the Rialto and Regent. The film was based on the realistic and successful stage production which had a phenomenal run in New York. Although the war scenes form no small part of the picture and are as fine as ! any screened, “What Price Glory” is a story of soldiers rather than war, the drama and thfe comedy of the lives and hates of Captain Flagg and Lieutenant Quirk, to whom “soldiering” was a profession. The role of Charmaine, the little French girl and heroine of the piece, is taken by Dolores del Rio, while wonderful characterisations are given Victor McLagJen and Edmund Lowe.
