OTAGO MEN SET OUT BY FOOT ACROSS EUROPE By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Saturday. Two former students of Otago University, Messrs. Donald Douglas and Burton Twiees, have started to walk from London to Karachi, India, via France, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Persia and Arabia. They are taking no money except sufficient to pay their fares across the Channel. They intend to write articles to replenish their exchequer. Motors and trains and airplanes, they say, have stripped the glamour from travel, and they are going in search of real romaal*.—A. and N.Z.
