GLEN EDEN CRICKET
SEASON’S PREPARATIONS The Glen Eden Cricket Club has decided to enter three teams in the various competitions this season. This decision was reached at a well-attended annual meeting of members last week. The local Town Board has decided to provide local and visiting players with the facilities of good wickets this year by improving the pitches on the recreation ground. The officers for the ensuing year are as follow: Patron, Mr. W. H. Shepherd; vice-patron, Mr. A. J. Routley; president, Mr. C. Mellor; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. N. Martin, W. P. Bevy, G. Ambler, S. Leadbeater, W. F. Rosier, A. Werner, F. K. Routley; secretary, Mr. J. L. Belsham; committee, Messrs. E. McNeil, G. Shepherd, A. Belsham. A. Spearpoint, A. Alp, F. Yates and W. Arnold; senior selector, Mr.. Alp.
