Newspaper Strike

TROUBLE SPREADS FOUR JOURNALS INVOLVED By Cable.—Pres* Association —Copyright Reed. 10.40 a.m. PERTH, To-day. The newspaper strike continues. The composite paper which is being issued now comprises four journals and bears the titles “'West Australian,” “Daily News,” “Call” and “Truth.” It is printed in a four-page style, five columns wide. Little difficulty is experienced in producing the issue. The linotype operators, who are still on duty, raised no objection to setting the copy, but the other departments refused to handle its publication. However, ample provision had been made to meet such an emergency.—A. and N.Z.
