JUNIOR REP. RUGBY

AUCKLAND V MANUKAU The Auckland junior representatives travelled to Papakura on Saturday and played a match against the Manukau representatives. The game, which was played during a heavy downpour of rain, was very even. The Auckland colts, playing for the first time together, combined well, and the backs indulged in some sparkling passing rushes, but the tackling of the home side was deadly and broke down the movements repeatedly. The game ended in a draw: Auckland Colts, 3 (try); Manukau Reps, 3 (penalty goal).
