RAILWAY INQUIRIES ITow will farmers be affected by Mr. T. K. Sidey’s Summer Time Bill if it becomes law? Officers of the Railway Department have recently been investigating the position in the Morrinsville district, making numerous inquiries at the dairy factories and from the farmers themselves. Should the Bill become law certain alterations will be necessary in the train arrangements to enable the farmers to get their cream railed without undue hardship. From the inquiries which were made it was quite evident that the majority of the farmers of the Morrinsville district do not want the Summer Time Bill.
