GERMANY AND BELGIUM INVESTIGATION NOT WANTED By Cable. —Press Association. Copyright BRUSSELS, Friday. The Cabinet has come to the conclusion that such an investigation would only excite national feeling instead of leading to the pacification which is desired by Belgium as well as by Germany. The Foreign Minister, M. Vandervelde, who was recalled from Geneva by airplane to assist the Cabinet in reaching a decision, has returned to impress this view on the signatories to the Treaty of Locarno. — 1 A. and N.Z.'
