TAURANGA RUGBY REPRESENTATIVES

(From Our Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Thursday. Keen interest is being taken in the Rugby football match to be played here on Saturday, 3rd inst., between the Auckland touring team and a combined team from Tauranga and Te Puke Clubs. A strong team has been selected, consisting of the following players: Fullback, T. Anderson (Te Puke); three-quarters, W. Turner (Tauranga), P. Ngatai (Tauranga), T. Morton (Te Puke) ; five-eighths, R. McKenzie (Te Puke), E. Bull (Te Puke); halfback, G. Tangitu (Tauranga) ; wing forward, P. Webber (Te Puke) ; forwards, I. Tangitu (Tauranga), W. Mansel (Tauranga), J. Byres (Tauranga), R. Hampton (Te Puke), Tu Tangitu (Tauranga). Mr. Ivan Fallwell will act as referee. The Aucklanders will arrive on Friday, and will be the guests of the Hockey Association at a ball on that evening.
