REYNOLDS—NEWMAN
A wedding of interest was solemnised in the Methodist Church, Thames, recently, between Alavis, the only daughter of Mr. and Airs. T. W. Newman, Rolleston Street, Thames, and Thomas Walter, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. N. Reynolds, of Te Aroha West. Rev. W. A. Burly, M.A., officiated, and Aliss Twentyman presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of ivory French crepe sylvia, scalloped at hem and finished at each side with petal panels of white panne velvet. A beautiful tulle veil was caught by tiny clusters of orange blossoms and formed a train. The bride carried a shower bouquet of choice white and palest pink flowers and ferns. Miss Winnie AlcCluskie was bridesmaid, wearing a frock of shaded cyclamen satin, shot with silver, with a head band composed of tiny petalled silver leaves. She carried a pretty bouquet in shades of cyclamen and mauve. Air. Joy, of Paeroa, was best man. After the ceremony Air. and Mrs. Newman entertained the guests in the Alasonic Hall.
