TOFUA SAILS TO-MORROW.— The Union Company are dispatching the Island passenger steamer Tofua from Auckland at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. KAIWARRA SAILS TUESDAY.— The Union Company now advises that the collier Kaiwar.ra will leave Auckland on Tuesday next for Newcastle, where she will load for Lyttelton. WA! KAW A FOR LYTTELTON.— The local office of the Union Company have been advised that the steamer AVaikawa is now loading at Newcastle for Lyttelton, instead of Auckland. KAITANGATA TO RESUME.-The Union Company advises that the collier Kaitangata, which has been undergoing overhaul and survey at Auckland, leaves here on Monday for Onerahi, where she loads for Sydney and Newcastle. MATATUA ARRIVES. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matatua arrived at Auckland this morning from Napier to complet her loading. She is to be dispatched about Tuesday next for Antwerp and London, via Cape Horn. L. D. Nathan and Company are the local agents. WALCHEREN NOT REPORTED.— Although she is due to arrive at Auckland from Montreal to-day, no word has yet been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the steamer Walcheren. The vessel passed through the Panama Canal on July 15. PAKEHA LEFT BALBOA. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line’s steamer Pakeha, which is due at Auckland from London on August 30, sailed from Balboa on Wednesday. After discharge at Auckland the vessel will go to AVellington, Lyttelton and Bluff to complete discharge. AORANGI LEAVES SUVA.— Advice received by the Union Company states that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi from Vancouver via ports left Suva at 2.30 p.m. yesterday fo.r Auckland. She is expected to arrive here at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday and is announced to sail again at 3 p.m. the next day for Sydney. CARGO FROM NEW YORK.— Due at Auckland to-night, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Carlisle will berth at the Queen’s Wharf to-morrow to land the local portion of her New York cargo under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The vessel will later proceed to AVellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hobart and Launceston to complete disk charge.

WESTMORELAND FROM ENGLAND.—With West of England cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, AVellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the Federal steamer Westmoreland is expected to arrive at Auckland next AVednesday from Liverpool. The New Zealand Shipping Company will act as the local agents. WEST ISLIP COMING. —CabIe advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane states that the American steamer West Islip sailed from Los Angeles on August 7 with cargo for dis- : charge at Auckland, AVellington, Lylj telton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Ply- | mouth. She is expected to arrive at 1 this port on September 1. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER.— En route from Montreal to Auckland, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger arrived at Colon on AVednesday. The vessel is due at Auckland on September 5, and after discharge of the local consignment of her general cargo, will continue discharge at Soutnern ports. HORORATA’S MOVEMENTS.—Due at Timaru to-morrow from Tokomaru Bay, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Hororata later proceeds to Lyttelton, AVanganui and AVellington to complete loading, sailing finally from the latter port on August 30 for London, via Panama. SOMERSET AT COLON.— The Federal Line steamer Somerset, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, arrived at Colon on Wednesday. The vessel is due at Auckland on August 29. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. PORT MELBOURNE’S PROGRAMME.—The C. and D. Line advises that the steamer Port Melbourne leaves Gisborne to-morrow for Waikokopu, Napier, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up for Home. She sails from Wellington finally on August 2 5 for London, via Cape Horn. RIMUTAKA FOR OAMARU. —The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Rimutaka sails from New Plymouth to-night for Oamaru, thence Bluff, Lyttelton and Wellington to complete her loading for Home. She is scheduled to clear Wellington on August 31 for Southampton and London, via Panama. TAMAROA FOR TlMAßU —Leaving Napier to-morrow for Timaru, the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa will later proceed to Wellington to complete her loading. She is timetabled to sail finally from Wellington at daybreak on August 27 for Southampton and London, via Panama. TEKOA TO COMPLETE.— The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Tekoa sails from Wanganui to-night for Wellington, where she completes her loading and finally clears on August 16 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester, via Panama. TAHITI LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO.—The Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Tahiti cleared San Francisco yesterday for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney. She is due on August 2.9. ORIENT LINE STEAMERS.— The Union Company, agents for the Orient Line, advises the following movements of their steamers: The Ormonde, from Australia, was due at Colombo yesterday, and is due at London on September 1. The Orama, from London, is due at Colombo on Saturday, and at Sydney on September 1. CAMBRIDGE AT LYTTELTON.— Now at Lyttelton loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Cambridge leaves on Monday for New Plymouth, ; Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland to fill up. She leaves Westport on Monday on the return trip, arriving at Onehunga on Wednesday. The Anchor Line steamer Kaitoa sailed from Onehunga last evening for Nelson and West Coast ports. She returns to Onehunga about Wednesday next, to load lor Nelson and West Coast ports again.
