NEW REGENT
“KNOCK-OUT REILLY” To-night and to-morrow will see the finish of the present programme at the new Regent. Maxim Brodi, the eminent Russian tenor, and Isobel Langlands, the brilliant young violinst, who have been so enthusiastically received, will give their final performance to-morrow night. The story of a handsome young steelworker who becomes a world’s boxing champion is told in "Knockout Reilly,” the chief pictorial attraction. Richard Dix, so popular in athletic parts, plays the leading character and Mary Brian appears as the daughter of a famous boxer. He first sees her as a cabaret entertainer and when he seeks an introduction he finds an unknown man paying attentions to her. Reilly knocks him out, only to discover later that he is Agerra, a boxing champion. Subsequent events cause Reilly to enter on a boxing career, in which he finds fame and happiness.
