n.L. tnnim luiuiui j The Auckland boxing team ior the New Zealand Championships at Invercargill is as follows: —F. Pearcey, fly-weight; J. O’Sullivan, bantam; T. Slattery, light; E. Armishaw. welter; A. Hogg, cruiser, and P. McCarthy, heavy. The team will go into training at Henry Donovan’s gymnasium on Thursday. R. Agr.ew, who is the feather champion, is unable to get away. This is a pity, as Agnew had a good chance of winning his w'eight at the Southern meeting. Mr. F. Burns will be the manager of the team, and Henry Donovan the trainer. On Monday next a function will be held at which the winners of the Auckland contests will be presented with their medals. The Craig Cup will be presented to Pearcey and the Trainers’ Shield to Matt Hatton. The team will leave Auckland on August 11.
