UPPER HARBOUR NEWS

FAREWELL PARTIES The Greenhithe Women's Institute last week gave a farewell afternoon to Miss Armitage at Mrs. Coulam's residence. Miss Armitage, who is leaving Greenhithe to accept the position of schoolmistress at Pukeoware, has endeared herself to both parents and children, and will be much missed in Greenhithe. Mrs. Irwin spoke in grateful terms of her kindness and painstaking care of the children, and Miss Armitage suitably responded. In the evening Mrs. Sexton also gave a ‘'farewell” which was very much enjoyed.
