With the exception of the role of Napoleon, the entire cast of Marion Davies’s “Quality Street,” has now been selected. Miss Davies will play the part of Phoebe Throssel. Conrad Nagel, who appeared opposite Miss Davies in “Lights of Old Broadway,” will play opposite the blonde star. Helen Jerome Eddy has the role of the heroine’s maiden sister, while Flora Finch and Margaret Seddon have the roles of the Willoughby sisters. Miss Corday. who appeared with Lillian Gish in "The Scarlet Letter.” and Emma Dunn, have the roles of Henrietta Trumbull and Patty, the Irish servant, respectively.

A most striking and unusual pictorial effect in the filming of "Resurrection. ’ starring Rod La Rocque with Dolores Del Rio, is the reproduction with startling realism ol ih<- beautiful Northern Lights, in combination with a comet. This is based on historical fact and is interwoven into the drama of the story. In 1897 a great comet travelled across the Russian sky. accompanied by a brilliant display of Northern Lights, and had a great effect upon superstitious Russia. It was looked upon as presaging war with Turkey. The filming of this scene has been completed, and it is said to be the first time that this phenomenon has ever been attempted to be shown in pictures.
