WRECKED MOTOR-CAR

OWNER CLAIMS DAMAGES AUCKLAND CLERK SUED (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. Judgment was delivered by Mr y H. Levien, S.M., in the Whangare Magistrate’s Court yesterday, in the case of Frank Anderson, taxi-ca r owner, Whangarei, who claimed £lg: damages in respect of a car which h<> hired to Frank Hammond, cashier Commercial Bank, Auckland, and which the latter wrecked. The magistrate found there had been dangerous speed and negligence on the part of defendant, and entered judgment for the plaintiff for £162, with costs £2O 11s.
