THE DISTRICT COURTS
There is commendable evidence of recognition of the country in the district courts, which occupy the main entrance hall of the show. Rich in the bounty of rural produce, they form a striking picture. At hand are the creations of the mills about the city. Timber cunningly turned, and fabrics flawlessly woven, ’ typify the city’s advancement as an industrial centre. Studying the wealth of factory and farm, of mills, and shops, and markets, the visitor to the exhibition may sense the greatness of the countryside and city that have combined to make the display possible.
