THE WEDDING NIGHT

Cutting and editing of the Corpus Christi procession sequence of Erich Von Stroheim’s special production, “ The Wedding March,” has been completed, it has been announced. Von Stroheim, who is author, director, star and cutter of the picture, declares the “procession” sequence the most difficult he ever handled. Taking place both inside and outside the historic St. Stephen’s Cathedral of Vienna, the procession necessitated over two thousand people—the crowds of spectators, cavalry and infantry troops, ecclesiastical dignitaries, Viennese police and members of the pre-war Austrian court.
