NOTES ABOUT SMART FURNITURE
Vivid blue leather dining room suites are enjoying a great vogue. Delightful bedroom suites are fashioned of hand-painted wood. As well as being original in colour they are unique in design. A green bed with painted flowers was fashioned with triangular ends. The chairs were made in the form of stools with rush seats. A more exotic suite was of grey lacquered wood, which had a lovely effect of oxydised silver. Some lovely new designs of furniture are to be obtained. I have admired cylindrical wardrobes, bed-ends and chests of drawers. Others are made like square pi Hows. White nursery furniture can never be beaten. Fresh delights are dear little rocking chairs illustrating a nursery rhyme. Screens tell a whole story in pictures. One suite of furniture told in detail the sad story of Little Lucy Locket and Miss Kitty Fisher. By the way, picture panels hanging on ient decoration than designs applied directly on to the walls.
