PRISONERS SENTENCED
BORSTAL AND GAOL Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. At the Supreme Court to-day. John David Blackburn was remanded to July 21 on charges of theft and attempted burglary. Alexander Boag, aged 18, for burglary and theft of £-. was admitted to probation for 18 months; Frederick John Alexander Smith, aged 20, for a false declaration under the Marriage Act, was fined £5 and costs. . _ John Kelly, alias Frederick Pratt, was sent to the Borstal Institute for two vears for breaking and entering and theft; Arthur Reginald Borland, aged 27, was sentenced to 18 months’ gaol for forgery and Richard Seddon Templeman, aged 20, was sent to the I Borstal for three years for the same I offence.
