BRITISH SEAMEN
MONEY FOR NEW UNION BITTERNESS AMONG LABOUR By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 12.15 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. There is considerable bitterness in Labour circles as a result of the executive of the Seamen’s Union deciding by 13 votes to 12 to subscribe £IO,OOO to assist the formation of new miners’ unions, pioneered after the strike by Mr. G. A. Spencer, Labour M.P. for Broxtowe. It is significant that Mr. Havelock Wilson has taken up the position of Director of Publicity for the new Industrial Peace Union.
