THE PHILISTINES’ CLUB

FOURTH REVEL The Amateur Operatic hall presented a glowing- picture on Saturday evening- for many members braved the elements, and they were rewarded with an excellent programme. . Mr. T. T. Garland was the chairman for the function, and, besides welcoming the members and their guests, contributed a homily on “How to Choose a Wife,” which called forth much laughter and applause. A section of the Savage Club Choir rendered several items, and Mr. Colin Muston, junr., gave two enjoyable violin solos. Some delightful vocal items were sung by Miss Lindgard, Miss Myrtle Burns and Mr. Ernest Snell. Miss Dorothy Richardson appeared in an Eastern dance and monologue, while Miss Messer contributed some humorous sketches. Among those present were: Mrs. T. T.
