MOTORING MISHAPS
Several motoring accidents occurred in country districts during t.ie week-end. Between Kaukapakapa and Helensville a heavy motor- lorry turned two somersaults over a 30ft bank. The most serious damage was the breaking of an axle. The driver. T. Hickey, received only a slight cu on the face. A motor-cyclist and a motof-ca collided on Ohaupo Road. Hamilto • on Sunday afternoon. Both mo * or ”, ri _ and cycle were damaged, but the a vers escaped injury. __ A As a car driven by Mr. A. Edge. Maungatapere, was turning from ton into Vine Street, Whangarei, ' came into collision with anoth driven by Mr. C. J. Alcock. No one was injured, but Mr. Alcock had to be taken to a garage repairs.
