SUPERANNUATED PUBLIC SERVANTS
COST OF LIVING BONUS Appealing for a stronger membership at the annual meeting of the Auckland Branch of the Federated Association of Superannuated Public Servants yesterday, the president, Mr. M. Guthrie, said that the work done would have been more extensive if the major portion of the ex-public servants were members. The association would then be able to approach the Government with greater confidence.
The association was urging that the present temporary cost of living bonuses should be made permanent. It was also endeavouring to have widoAA's of railway servants placed on the same footing as regards pensions as AvidoAvs of other public servants.
