Remission of Tax Sought.—Remission of land tax of £32 6s paid by Henry Baxrett, of Koromatua, Auckland district, is asked in a petition to the House of Representatives. The petitioner states that, as a result of the revaluation of his land being as - sessed at a certain date, he was compelled to pay this amount over and above what he considered was his right.
