YOUTHFUL ROMANCE LEADS TO COURT
FALSE DECLARATION
Press Association. ASHBURTON. To-day. At the Methven Magistrate’s Court this morning Frederick John Alexander Smith, of Alford Forest, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on a charge of making a false declaration under the Marriage Act by stating that he was 22 years old, whereas he is only 19.
