UNDERWORLD VENDETTA THREE GIRLS WOUNDED CUTS IN FOREHEAD By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright SYDNEY, Sunday. The underworld vendetta which resulted in the murder of the man Norman Bruhn in a Darlinghurst slum on Thursday is still being waged with unabated vigour. The fact has just been made public that three girls, whose ages range from 17 to 22, -were found by the police on Friday night suffering from razor cuts on their foreheads. Each cut was in the form of the letter “L.” The only facts the police have been able to obtain from the girls are that they were accosted by men who* asked for money. When this was refused the men inflicted the cuts, the marks of which are indelible. f. Extra policemen have been detailed to the district in which the outrages are being committed. Owing to the extreme reticence of the victims, however, little headway can be made with their investigations.—A. and N.Z.
