Hockey Carnival at Remuera
EDEN WINS DAVIS CUP THE FINAL RESULTS In addition to the results of the King’s Birthday hockey carnival which appeared in yesterday’s third edition ot THE SUN, the following were published in the “sports extra”: St. Cuthbert’s College won the Kent Cup for competition in the girl’s junior grade, with 22 points. Training College was runner-up with 8 points. The Bernecker Challenge Vase for the girls’ senior competition went to Mount Eden with 12 points; University was runner-up with 11 points. In the men’s competitions Mount Eden brought off the Trevor Davis Cup with 20 points, and Somerville was again runner-up, winning the Harvard Cup with 18 points.
