“SOCIALISTIC?”
W.E.A. MOVEMENT DOUBTS SET AT REST “J DON’T know whether we should subscribe to it. is it not largely a Socialistic institution?” This question was asked by a member at yesterday’s meeting of the the Auckland Chamber of Commerce when a request for a donation to the Workers’ Educational Association came before the meeting. Several members were quick to enlighten him, maintaining that the association was doing a great deal of good work, and was worthy of support. It was decided to make a donation of £lO.
