GIFTS OUT OF PROFITS {From Our Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. To-day the trustees of the Dunedin Savings Bank discussed the question of the disposal of surplus profits for the past financial year. It was agreed to grant £I,OOO to the Dunedin free public library as an endowment. A grant of the same amount was made in 1910.
A grant of £I,OOO was also made to the Otago University general fund. It is understood that this gift will be subsidised £ for £ by the Government.
