MAN GRASPS LIVE ELECTRIC WIRE

FUSE BLOWS OUT SAVES MAN’S LIFE HAND BADLY BURNED (Special to THE SUN.) ELTHAM, To-day. Rod Taylor, aged 20, had a lucky escape from death, or serious injury, on Tuesday afternoon. He was working on the roof of a house and grasped an insulated live electric wire. The insulation was partially perished and Taylor’s hand closed on the wire. Taylor called out to his employer, Delaunay, below, who went to his assistance. The fuse fortunately blew out and Taylor dropped to the roof suffering from shock and severe burns to the left hand, both on the palm and back. Medical attention was secured and Taylor will probably be unable to work for a considerable time.
