A FARMERS’ TRAIN

FOR PALMERSTON SHOW ( From. Our Own Correspondent .) PALMERSTON N., To-day. Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., while in Wellington earlier in the week, made application to the Railway Department to run a special farmers' train from Waikato to the Palmerston North Winter Show. Mr. Nash pointed out that such a train was to be run for the Hamilton Show, and that Palmerston North, holding as it did the premier show in the Dominion was equally entitled to the same consideration. The matter is now under consideration by the department.
