PORT GISBORNE LAUNCHED. On April 30, the C. and D. motorship Port Gisborne, was launched from the yards of Messrs. Swan, Hunter and Wigham, at Newcastlc-on-Tyne. The vessel will have provision for 12 passengers—four single berths and four double berths. She will have 300,000 cubic fet of refrigerated space, and will run to about 8,000 tons gross. The vessel will be electric throughout. Windlasses, refrigerating machinery, cooking, lighting and heating will all be run by electricity.
