Auckland Rugby Teams. —There has been a big increase in the number of Rugby teams in Auckland this year. The teams in the various grades are nearly double last year’s total, amounting in all to 140, spread over six grades, in addition to 36 secondary school teams. The figures for the primary schools are not yet available. Cycle Races Not Run. —The two cycle road races, which were to have been held at Mangere on Saturday, could not be held owing to the weather.
