LARGE CROWDS ATTEND FUNERALS OF EGMONT VICTIMS

(From Our Own Correspondent .) WANGANUI, To-day. T ARGE crowds attended the funerals of Messrs. F. Latham and E. Baines, victims of the Mount Egmont tragedy, on Saturday and yesterday, respectively. The Rev. C. F. Pierce, headmaster of the Collegiate School, conducted the service at the college chapel, and the Rev. W. H. Austin, college chaplain, at the Aramoho Cemetery. A large number of boys on holiday came from all parts of the Dominion to attend the obsequies.
