HAHN’S NEW RECORD

Hard on the heels of his great mile run in 4.12 1-5 last March, Lloyd Hahn, the Boston track star, smashed the world’s record for 1,000 metres, in a sensational indoor track duel with Ray Dodge, of Illinois. Hahn broke the tape in 2min. 26 2-ssec., clipping 3 1-ssec. off the former world’s indoor record, and 2 1-ssec. off the old outdoor record held by S. Lundgren, a Swede.
