FAVOURED IN AUSTRALIA TRADES UNIONS CONGRESS By Cable...—Press Association.—Copyright MELBOURNE, Tuesday. The All-Australian Trades Unions Congress adopted a resolution in favour of a basic wage which should be applicable to and of the same purchasing power throughout the whole Commonwealth.

A second resolution affirmed the principle of one man, one trade and one calling. Another resolution was passed in favour of the formation of Labour Research and Information Bureaux in the various States. The congress was concluded and the members sang the “Red Flag.”—A. and N.Z.
