ONE FOR WHITE FANG

It was a welcome change for Mrs. M. G. Mclntosh, owner of White Fang, when she led in the winner of the second division of the Rous Handicap at Randwick recently. When that gelding arrived in Sydney from New' Zealand he had the reputation of being a brilliant sprinter. He was the

medium of big betting at his first effort, but was unluckily beaten. From then until recently he had not filled a place, but that his win was not unexpected was shown by the betting. White Fang had run well in both the Liverpool Handicap and the Doncaster, and was w'ell supported yesterday. White Fang was in the leading division all the way, and cook charge bofor the turn. For a white Giggle (by Absurd) looked like beating him home, but White Fang was doing slightly the better at the end.
