Shorty English walked in on Dick Barthelmess the other day during a scene of "The White Black Sheep,” which Inspiration is now filming for First National, and there followed a joyous reunion such as only happens between men of deep friendship. Shorty used to be a property man with D. W. Griffith when Dick was making “Scarlet Day,” “The Love Flower,” “Broken Blossoms’’ and other early Griffith classics.
